Neil Ashford didn’t grow up dreaming about fiberglass batts. He got into insulation the way a lot of honest tradespeople do: he was working construction, kept getting called onto jobs where the insulation was the problem, and eventually realized nobody was treating it as seriously as it deserved. He’d walk into attics in the middle of a Pomona August and feel the heat radiating through ceilings because someone had skimped on R-value years earlier.
